Today we helped Izzy cross the Rainbow Bridge.
In fields of gold where memories reside, a faithful friend named Izzy by our side. A Labrador with fur of sunlit hue, her love and presence forever true.
She’d chase the waves, a water-loving guide, swimming with joy, in oceans, far and wide. Fetching tennis balls with boundless glee, her spirit dancing, wild and free.
Savoring chicken and pasta, a delicacy so fine, her eager eyes would always brightly shine. A kind and gentle soul within her gaze, spreading love and warmth in countless ways.
In games of hide and seek, her wit would gleam, intelligent and clever, a star in our team. Fourteen years of moments we hold dear, each one a testament to love so clear.
Through battles fought with courage and grace, Cushing’s may have tried, but couldn’t erase. A bond unbroken, a love that will stay, in our hearts, Izzy’s memory lights the way.
Though tears may fall like gentle rain, Izzy’s memory will forever remain. In fields of gold, her spirit runs free, a loyal companion for eternity.
